How much is a session?

Standard Session : £65 | Short Session : £45

A standard speech and language session is 45 minutes, and a short session is about 20 minutes long.

How much is an initial assessment with a report?

A full assessment is £180. This includes a 1 hour session with a speech therapist, followed by a full speech and language report. The report will include a thorough assessment of where your child's difficulties and strengths lie.  Based on the initial assessment results, the speech therapist will develop a treatment plan that addresses your child's specific communication needs and goals.

How many sessions will my child need?

The number of speech therapy sessions a child needs varies depending on their specific needs and goals. Factors such as the severity and type of speech and language disorder, the child's age and stage of development, and their progress in therapy, can all impact the frequency and duration of speech therapy.

It is common for children to receive speech therapy once or twice a week, with each session lasting 20 minutes to an hour. However, the number of sessions can be adjusted based on the child's progress and the therapist's recommendations.

It is important to work closely with the child's speech therapist to determine the right frequency and duration of therapy for your child and to regularly review and adjust the plan as needed.

Are there any other costs?

There are no hidden costs, just the assessment and standard session rates.

Can I cancel a session?

We have a 24 hour cancellation policy. Anything more than 24 hours can be cancelled or rearranged without charge. If sessions are cancelled with less than 24 hours they will be fully charged.

How are payments taken?

When you register you'll be asked to provide your card details which will then be saved securely on your Mable account. Payment will be taken from that card 48 hours before each session.
