1:1 Assessment & Therapy
Engaging online speech and language assessments and therapy sessions, delivered by HCPC-registered specialists and tailored to each pupil's individual needs.
Assessment Sessions
Most pupils begin their Mable Therapy journey with an initial speech and language assessment.
This assessment helps our therapists understand each pupil's strengths and areas of need, determine whether therapy sessions are recommended, and identify the most appropriate support plan and interventions.
Conducted by a specialist speech and language therapist, the assessment is a 50-minute, interactive online session delivered through the Mable Therapy platform. Following the assessment, you'll receive a comprehensive written report within seven days, outlining findings, recommendations, and any proposed next steps.
*In some cases, a new assessment may not be required. For example, if a pupil has received a speech and language assessment within the previous six months and the available report provides sufficient information, our therapists may be able to use this to inform their recommendations.
Therapy Sessions
Every pupil's therapy programme is bespoke - tailored to their individual needs, goals, and the things they enjoy.
Whether informed by a Mable assessment (see above), or by existing information provided by a valid previous assessment report, our therapists create targeted support plans designed to help pupils make meaningful progress.
Delivered via fun and engaging online sessions on our own unique platform, therapy is tailored to each child's communication needs, helping them build confidence and develop the skills they need to thrive.
Following each session, you'll receive a progress report outlining the pupil's achievements, next steps and recommended activities. Therapists also provide practical resources and strategies to support progress beyond the session, helping both school staff and parents or carers reinforce learning throughout the week.
