The Mable Canvas
Within the Mable Deck there's the Mable Canvas - a multi-functional, creative space used to collaborate on drawings, storyboards, comic strips and imaginative scenes. This improves engagement and allows therapists to use the creative principles of play and art therapy.
It is a completely synced platform, supporting:
- 360 characters for comic creation
- Animated gif library
- Image library
- Video library
- Vector drawing
- Shapes drawing
- All items drag & drop with touch screen support
- Speech & thought bubbles
Hundreds of pre-made Canvas designs have already been made by Mable's in-house design team and we're adding more all the time. They're loaded into the Canvas' searchable library for the therapists to utilise in sessions, and can be adapted and personalised to meet the individual needs of each child.

Games with in-built quantitive tracking
Mable's games are an engaging, low-pressure way of testing the child's progress against their 'targets'. Targets are small isolated pieces of work that can be tracked over time to measure progress.
Our gaming system has 30 templates or 'game types' that are the basis for 1000s of different games, designed and created by the clinical team. Homework is automatically attached to targets and then shared with the parents and teachers in the session report.
The gaming system supports seven 'reporting types' to make session information simple and easy to understand. Outcomes might be presented as a percentage score, a written analysis or even on a smiley face scale, whichever is most clinically appropriate for that target.
Engaging activities, enhance motivation
We understand the importance of keeping the child engaged, motivated and enjoying the session - so some of our games are just for fun! Lasting between 30 seconds to a minute, they're a great way to build the bond between the child and therapist. And for children who struggle with attention, it's a great way to help them refocus.
Data-driven, comprehensive reporting
Progress data from the sessions is collected, collated and communicated automatically, giving schools and parents access to a wealth of information at the click of a button. As the progress data is recorded automatically, based on the child's performance in the target games, session reports are generated and shared with stakeholders within a fraction of the time of traditional services.
Comprehensive SEND assessments
The therapeutic journey begins with the therapist conducting a baseline assessment of the child's speech and language skills. The child engages in a variety of games and activities, with the software automatically collating the outcomes which populate the report. This means our speech and language reports are completed and shared much quicker than traditional services. These reports can be used to support EHCP applications, funding requests, and they also inform the direction of the therapy sessions.

Post-session report & homework
After each session Mable provides a comprehensive report, detailing which targets were worked on and any outcome data. The report is shared within 24 hours and bespoke homework tasks are also available for between sessions. These help school staff and parents to support with targets and feel more involved in the child's therapeutic journey.

A clear, transparent overview
The Mable Deck is designed so that staff have instant access to their whole school overview, including their remaining budget, how many students are currently having therapy and how well they’re progressing through their targets. This 'school summary' information is invaluable in evidencing their SEND and mental health interventions and use of budget

Counselling Ad 2022
We are always working to improve our messaging to our customers. In our consumer counselling service helping parents realise they are not alone and there are effective solutions out there is the heart of our messaging.
Comprehensive access for users
The Mable platform has different levels of user access, meaning everyone has access to the right information, while still being GDPR-compliant. School administrators can access individual information as well as whole-school data, while parents can only ever access their own child's records.
Those with 'school administrator access' can add new staff members, refer students and book sessions without speaking to a member of the Mable team, enabling them to organise their SEND provision and timetable independently.
