"From the first phone call, I knew I’d found the right people. Care was taken to pair my child to the right therapist who was kind, thoughtful and made my child feel at ease to speak freely. Incredible service"

Hybrid approach to therapy

For some children, the idea of having therapy or meeting a counsellor can make them feel even more anxious. Not with us. All our sessions take place online, not in an intimidating clinic or office. This is part of our  'hybrid' approach to therapy. The sessions take place in the safety and comfort of your home, but the therapy focuses on helping your child with how to cope and build resilience in the real world. The counsellors will also often share strategies and techniques that they'll encourage your child to use in everyday life.

No waiting, the best clinicians

Appointments are available within 48 hours and we don't use any trainees or volunteers. Our counsellors are all fully qualified, BACP or ACP registered and DBS-checked. We only recruit counsellors who have substantial experience, appropriate qualifications and the right patience, warmth and energy to work with children.

Simple process

Referring your child for counselling shouldn't be stressful. With Mable, you answer a few simple questions and then choose a counsellor from the list. Find a time that works for you, book your child's first appointment and then simply log-in to join the session.

How to talk about counselling with your child

If you're not sure how to broach the idea of counselling with your child, we've created this video which is a great place to start. Tell them you've noticed they seem a bit down and you wondered if they might want to talk to someone. Once you've watched the video, let them know that you'll never force them to have counselling, it's their decision. It can also help if they're involved in choosing their counsellor when you book the first appointment. This will help them to feel more in control.
